About Us and Our Service
We are York based company working nationally and keep all of our clients up to date and in communication with their commission every step of the way. The process begins with a discussion to ensure we are clear of your needs and desires. From here we will provide you with an obligation free quotation and specification the design for your shepherd's hut.
All process including casting, insulation, window and door manufacture are designed and made by ourselves in our York based workshop and office with the help of a local foundry. This way we ensure that the high quality of our shepherd's huts is maintained throughout, from concept, through the manufacturing process to delivery.
A range of paint finishes are available to choose from primarily using Farrow and Ball for their interior complementary colours and Osmo Hard Wax Oil for a natural wood finish and Farrow & Ball or Jonestones for exterior quality paint. In addition a full interior design and service including finishing accessories is available as an in house design service offered by our own specialist Pennie Lordan.
Successful Yorkshire furniture maker and Mastercraftsman Kevin Lordan has 25 years experience in the furniture making industry and ensures that a great emphasis is placed on the quality and precision The Yorkshire Hut Company’s shepherd’s huts making quality assurance and customer satisfaction something we at The Yorkshire Hut Company consistently strive to deliver and delight our clients with. This extends to offering an onsite service, constructing our shepherd's hut's on site, where access is an issue.
