Wheels
These can be chosen to suit your preference.
4 x 30 inch wheels weighing 115 kg each and 5 inches in width for a truly substantial base.
4 x 30 inch wheels being of a lighter casting (weight to be confirmed) providing a lighter and more cost effective option.
2 x 30 inch wheels and 2 x 13 inch wheels to allow for a tighter turning capacity if maneuverability is important to you.
Flooring
A choice of softwood or hardwood flooring is available including European Redwood, oak, maple, ash, beech and many more.
Insulation
Thermafleece sheep's wool, a natural insulation locally sourced from the Lake District.
Electricity
Consumer units with sockets and wall lighting are available to your specification.
Finishes
Internal woodwork can be sealed using oil for a natural wood treatment or cladding can also be painted to a colour of your choice. We recommend Osmo Hardwax Oil for their natural properties and Farrow & Ball paints as their range of colours compliment the huts very well.
External shiplap cladding can be painted in a finish of your choice. We recommend Jonestones Stormshield gloss as it is a flexible and high quality product in a wide variety of hues.
Internal Extras
Double or single bed which can also be used as a sofa with scatter cushions.
Under bed storage units on casters.
Upper bunk bed with removable ladder.
Bespoke shelving throughout shepherd's hut to meet your requirements.
Medicine cabinet, an authentic extra can be made to your dimensions.
Bookcase, desk or cupboards made to suit your requirements.

Victorian wall panelling with dado rail for a more luxurious wall covering.
Handmade wood burning stoves/ovens supplied by Windy Smithy UK and fitted by ourselves, an exceptionally good range of stoves, well built and providing all the heat you will need.
