Woodwork and Furniture Making Classes
Run by master craftsman Kevin Lordan of The Yorkshire Hut Company, fully qualified teacher and craftsman with 25 years experience. Whether you are an experienced woodworker or a beginner with an interest, these six week evening courses are the perfect opportunity for you to make: gifts for loved ones, children's toys, furniture for your home, learn how to use hand tools correctly and cut joints accurately and become a competent maker yourself.

Woodcarving
Run by York´s expectional wood and stone carver Tim Foster, an excellent teacher and professional, who has worked at York Minster and Royal Palaces.
Saturday course from 11.30am - 4.30pm
Suitable to all levels and introducing or developing relief work, letter cutting and chip carving. Only seven places on each course so please book early.
Six weeks course on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm - 9.00pm
Price: £79
This course is also suitable for all levels offering differentiation and providing opportunity to develop to a more advanced level through a project led six week course. Only seven places on each course so please book early.

Art and Craft Classes for Young People Aged 7-12
After school art and craft classes are held in a professional art
studio for children aged 7-12 and run on:
Thursdays from 4pm - 5pm
and
Saturdays from 10am - 11am
Run by CRB checked primary teacher, art specialist and artist Pennie Lordan. Classes are enjoyable, exploratory and creative encouraging children to develop their skills and techniques and their individual artistic expression. They are an opportunity for children to develop imagination and artistic creativity, skills and knowledge in both two and three dimensional work whilst having the opportunity to have fun, making friends in a safe caring environment. Children have the freedom to choose their own projects, materials & activities under professional guidance and support.
There are a maximum or 8 children per session so please book early.
Prices: Pay as you go £10.00 per child per hour.
Six week block bookings
One hour each week for six weeks for £50
(Includes one session for free)
